Call for Art 2025

People who have or have had mental health issues are invited to submit an artwork to the 13th Out of Sight Out of Mind exhibition which will be held in October 2025 at Summerhall in Edinburgh.

The exhibition is organised by and for people with mental health issues. It is a CAPS Independent Advocacy project. Part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival.

·      Take part either as an individual or as a group

·      One artwork per person

·      Artworks can be in any media (paintings, sculptures, drawings, installations, films, animations, sound works, photographs, craft and anything else).

·      Artworks can be about anything that you choose. If you wish, you can respond to this years’ theme Comfort & Disturb, but it is not a requirement

·      You can apply for a grant to help with materials costs. You do not need a grant to take part

 Artwork Submissions and Materials Grants:

 Please note, artworks do not have to be finished until they are handed in September.

 Materials Grants Application closing date: 12pm Monday 2 June 2025

Artwork Submissions closing date: 12pm Monday 7 July 2025
