Donate or share
Using an online platform called Go Fund Me, people can donate any amount they like. Everything, small and large donations will help reach the goal and go towards Out of Sight Out of Mind in 2026.
If donating isn’t possible for you just now, sharing the campaign is incredibly valuable and helps reach lots more people. There is more information on how to do that below.
A 14th Out of Sight Out of Mind exhibition
For 13 years, Out of Sight Out of Mind exhibition has created a space where hundreds of people with experience of mental health issues can express themselves through art and be heard. It allows thousands more as visitors to join in reflection, connection and celebration.
We are working to secure funding for its future; in the meantime, we need your help to make the 14th exhibition happen.
Visit the Go Fund Me page using the button above to donate, read more, or share the campaign.
Campaign aims to reach £10,000
A full Out of Sight Out of Mind exhibition costs much more, but £10,000 will ensure a 2026 exhibition can happen this October during the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival. It will be a smaller exhibition than usual, but as always it will be for people with mental health issues to show art and allow many people to celebrate their art, experiences and efforts.
£10,000 will support:
• A three-week exhibition
• Event costs
• Accessibility support
• Volunteer coordination
• A welcoming space for artists and visitors
If you are able to donate, thank you. Any amount helps from £5, to £100 or beyond! It will all contribute to Out of Sight Out of Mind in 2026.

Out of Sight Out of Mind is more than an art exhibition.
It is a community-led project organised by people with lived experience of mental health issues, which supports people to make a share their art without judgement or barriers. It lets us all come together to celebrate the art, people’s voices and efforts. It creates a space for thought, emotion and dialogue on many important issues.
Many artists exhibiting have never shown their work publicly before. For some, it is the first time their voice has been seen or heard.
Participants have said the exhibition helps them:
• feel seen and valued
• build confidence
• connect with others
• reduce isolation
• improve wellbeing
It has been described many times as joyful, beautiful, important, unique, exciting and lifesaving. In the words of one exhibitor: "This exhibition doesn’t just support artists — it saves lives. It saved mine."
Thank you!
Thank you for helping supporting the exhibition and the community that show art, come and see it, plan and volunteer. We all make it happen! Together we can ensure that Out of Sight Out of Mind continues to provide a space where creativity, honesty and lived experience are visible.
