Parking: There is only on street paid parking near Summerhall. However, you can enter with a vehicle if you need disabled access to be picked up or dropped off. However it will not be possible to park as the car park is very small. Call Summerhall Reception when you arrive on - 0131 560 1580 and they will open the gate.

Useful Summerhall Information: Summerhall is dog friendly. The cafe is open Mon – Sun: 8am – 8pm.

At the Exhibition: There will people at the exhibition who you can ask for directions and information from. These may be volunteers, staff or Planning Group members, and if they can’t answer your question they will find someone who can.

We aim that each gallery space will have several chairs in them, or nearby.

We will have as much signage as possible to direct you around the exhibition. The friendly OOSOOM team and Summerhall staff can also show you where to go if asked.

Quiet Hours: Although everyday differs, the exhibition is usually quieter during the week, however this can fluctuate and is not guaranteed, but please get in touch if you would like more information or to discuss how we can best support your visit.

Quiet Space: If you need to take some time out, we suggest that you visit the Summerhall courtyard. This is not a private area, but it is outside and may give you a break.

Overwhelm: Please note that there will be 160 artworks on display each created by exhibitors who have experience of mental health issues, you may find that some of the artworks on display may be triggering or find the number of artworks overwhelming.

We ask that you go at your own pace and welcome you to come back throughout the exhibition period.
